The project “Support for the Coordination Group on Global Policy Dialogue – GLOBAL 2030” aims to support the Coordination Group on Global Policy Dialogue (CG GPD) within the Bologna Follow-up Group (BFUG) by strengthening dialogue, enhancing cooperation and transparency, and building trust between the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and other countries, organizations and macro-regions.
Specific objectives of the project
- Ensuring effective coordination in addressing global policy issues between the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and other macro-regions, through support for the organization of meetings of the Coordination Group on Global Policy Dialogue (CG GPD) within the Bologna Follow-up Group (BFUG);
- Strengthening collaboration with other macro-regions and aligning public policy instruments;
- Organizing the Global Policy Forum 2027 in Iași–Chișinău and drafting the Global Policy Forum Declaration.
The project is structured into five work packages covering project management and coordination, support for global policy dialogue within the EHEA, strengthening interregional cooperation, organization of the Global Policy Forum 2027 in Iași–Chișinău, as well as dissemination and communication of results.
Expected results include the development of a post-2030 action plan for interregional cooperation in higher education, the preparation of the final report of the CG GPD, the organization of peer-learning activities and thematic webinars, the elaboration of relevant analytical reports, as well as the organization of the Global Policy Forum 2027 and the adoption of its Declaration.
