Contract Title: Equipment for school laboratories in physics, chemistry, biology 

Reference No. (as per Procurement Plan): MD-MOED-242576-GO-RFB

 

1.The Republic of Moldova has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Moldova Education Reform Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract(s) for laboratories equipment for Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.

 

2.Ministry of Education, Culture and Research now invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for school laboratory equipment to equip 160 schools and which was divided in 9 Lots as follows: 

(1) MD-MOED-242576-GO-RFB-1 (Lot 1 - IT equipment)

(2) MD-MOED-242576-GO-RFB-2 (Lot 2 – Sets for students for Physics laboratory)

(3) MD-MOED-242576-GO-RFB-3 (Lot 3 – Special Equipment for Physics laboratory)

(4) MD-MOED-242576-GO-RFB-4 (Lot 4 – Chemistry Laboratory ware are utensils)

(5) MD-MOED-242576-GO-RFB-5 (Lot 5 – Measuring instruments and illustrative materials)

(6) MD-MOED-242576-GO-RFB-6 (Lot 6 - Experiments Equipment for Biology Laboratory).

(7) MD-MOED-242576-GO-RFB-7 (Lot 7 - Biology Laboratory ware and utensils).

(8) MD-MOED-242576-GO-RFB-8 (Lot 8 - Didactic materials for Biology Laboratory).

(9) MD-MOED-242576-GO-RFB-9 (Lot 9 - Digital measuring sensors for physics, chemistry, biology laboratories).

The delivery should be done within 120 days from the contract signing date.

 

3.Bidders may bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the bidding document.  Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.

 

4.Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011, revised July 2014 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and it is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

Inspect the bidding documents during office hours 09:00AM to 17:00PM at the address given below.

6.Bidders shall register for the bidding by written application at the e-mail address indicated below. A complete set of bidding documents in English will be sent via email after registration.  Prior registration is required for submitting clarification questions on the bidding documents and receiving automatic notice of answers and of addenda to the bidding documents. The original version of the bidding documents, and any addenda to it, will be the binding one. 

 

7.Bids must be submitted ONLY ELECTRONICALLY to the electronic mail address mentioned below on or before September 23, 2021; 11:00 AM, local time. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened via online conference where the bidders’ designated representatives will be invited and to which can join anyone who decide to participate at the online conference for bids opening. 

 

8.All bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration
